All Industrial Estates, including the ones managed by
us, are listed below:
Burgh Road Industrial Estate
Burgh Road was privately developed in the 1950's and is situated
two miles west of the city centre (off the B5307). The site is 21.5
acres and each of the sites on the estate are currently owned by
the occupiers.
Denton Holme Trade Centre
Just under 1 mile from the City Centre adjacent to Junction

Durranhill Industrial Estate
Durranhill is situated 1.5 miles south west of the city centre
and has an area of 15.5 hectares. Access is obtained from the outer
ring road, which provides easy access to the A6, A69, M6 and the
City itself.
Kingmoor Park
Kingmoor Park has over 2 million square feet of
industrial, office and warehouse buildings from 1500 sq ft to
83,000 sq ft set in over 400 acres landscaped grounds.
The site is located on Junction 44 of the M6. A secondary
access point to the motorway network, the Carlisle Northern
Development Route, is currently being constructed.
Kingstown Industrial Estate
Kingstown is Carlisle's largest industrial estate, extending to
over 170 acres and adjacent to Junction 44 of the M6. The estate is
approximately two miles from the city centre and is well serviced
by public transport. It currently provides employment for over
2,000 people. Wide ranges of businesses are represented, including
a large number of national and international companies. Carlisle
City Council, freeholder of the estate, manages Kingstown.
Longtown Industrial Estate
This estate is situated on the southern edge of Longtown with
access from the B6071, Longtown - Brampton road. Longtown is a
small town of about 3,000 people and is located about nine miles
north of Carlisle.
Newtown Industrial Estate
Newtown is situated one mile to the west of the city centre on
Newtown Road (B5307) and has a site area of 9.8 acres. All sites
are developed and in private ownership.
Parkhouse Industrial Estate
Parkhouse is a landscaped, greenfield site of 10 hectares. It is
situated three miles north of the city centre, close to Junction 44
of the M6. The site is adjacent to Kingstown industrial estate.
Port Road Business Park
Port Road was the site of the former Canal Basin with an area of
20 acres. It is situated west of the city centre.
Rosehill Industrial Estate
Rosehill is located about one mile east of the city centre and
is adjacent to Junction 43 of the M6. The estate has a total
area of over 20 hectares and includes a public car park with over
600 spaces.
St Nicholas Industrial Estate
This estate is at the southern end of Botchergate and has a site
area of 3.4 acres. The City Council is the ground landlord for only
part of this Estate, the remainder is privately owned.
Townfoot Industrial Estate, Brampton
Townfoot is situated on the B6264, Carlisle - Brampton road, a
mile west of Brampton and nine miles to the east of Carlisle.
Brampton has a population of around 4,000 and serves an extensive
rural area of north east Cumbria. Carlisle Airport is only three
miles away on the B6264.
Willowholme Industrial Estate
Willowholme is situated just under a mile from the city centre,
with access to the A595T. The estate is fully developed and has a
total area of 18.8 acres. Willowholme Road leads to the Stephenson
Industrial Estate.
