Skip permits - Builders' Skips

You can place a skip on private land without needing our approval but, if on the highway, you require a skip licence. Skip companies apply for a licence on your behalf. The skip must conform to a skip specification.

If you do not obtain a licence then the skip may be removed and the owner of the skip could be prosecuted.
