Club Premises Certificate
There is no requirement for a qualifying club to have a
personal licence holder.
A club premises certificate authorises a members club to supply
alcohol, provide hot food / drink between 11pm and 5am and provide
regulated entertainment, for example:
- playing music, whether live or recorded;
- the performance of a play or dance;
- indoor sporting events, boxing or wrestling;
- the exhibition of a film;
- entertainment of a similar description (e.g. a circus)

A club premises certificate is only for use by
qualifying clubs. A number of conditions must
be met to be considered a qualifying club. These are listed in full
in Guidance Document GD11

- the fee
- the operating schedule section of your application form
- the plan of your premises
- a copy of the club rules
