Support and Advice is available from the Rural Support Team at
Carlisle City Council.
The Rural Support Team can assist you with information on the
following issues:
- Parish Council and Village Hall contact details
- Funding advice and grant sources
- Help and advice on completing grant application forms
- Advice and application forms for the Parish Council and Village
Hall grants (awarded through Carlisle City Council and Cumbria
County Council)
- Support for Village Hall Management Committees
- Parish planning for both parishes starting Parish Plans and
those looking to implement initiatives
- Access to the Rural Voice newsletter and contact point for
inclusion of articles
- Rural policy documents and their relevance for Carlisle
district
