What we do to tackle ASB?

We work closely with the Carlisle & Eden Community Safety Partnership, the Police, Fire Service and other agencies to tackle and reduce incidents of anti-social behaviour.

Through this partnership we:

  • Issue Acceptable Behaviour Contracts/Orders and Injunctions;
  • Issue Dispersal Orders and Designated Public Place Orders.
  • Carry out home fire safety checks and crime prevention surveys.
  • Install improved lighting and CCTV installation.
  • Investigate complaints of noise nuisance.
  • Remove abandoned and untaxed vehicles, Graffiti and Fly tipping.
  • Provide a support scheme for victims.

If you are suffering from anti-social behaviour and would like to report it please contact Cumbria Constabulary’s non emergency number, 101. You can also contact us on 01228 817200 to find out how we can help.

Community Trigger

Cumbria Community Safety Partnership, which includes the police, the council and registered housing providers, works together to tackle anti-social behaviour and hate incidents.

The Community Trigger is a process you can use to ask agencies to review their response to anti-social behaviour or hate incidents you have reported.
