Booking information
Admission and bookings will vary depending on the nature,
duration and location of activities and the ages of children and
young people involved – access to activities are classed as either
Open or Registered Access.
Open Access
Locally based programmes will usually operate
on an Open Access basis:
- No need to book in advance
- Numbers not normally limited
- A Registration Form may need to be completed for
some schemes
Children and young people will be encouraged to self-register to
provide basic information to be used to evaluate these
Programmes.
Staff are only responsible for supervising children and young
people whilst they are taking part in the activities they are
providing, they are NOT responsible for making
sure children and young people stay with them until they are
collected by a parent or carer and are not able to take children or
young people home.
Registered Access
Programmes that are not based locally will
usually operate on a Registered Access basis
- Advance booking essential
- Numbers limited
- Registration Form must be completed
Clothing
Please make sure that children and young people wear appropriate
clothing and footwear – some activities may involve getting cold
and wet, running around, climbing, getting dirty etc.
