Community Advice
For many, Carlisle is a great place to live and work in. It has
a wealth of attractions for the visitor too. However, for some who
live in our neighbourhoods, as in other areas of the UK, there are
unacceptable levels of deprivation.
Carlisle City Council is working to make Carlisle a better place
for everyone, despite the changing and demanding financial
environment. Our communities are our greatest asset and we must
engage with them, and ensure their involvement.
