Upperby Gala 2012

The
Upperby Gala is a very popular family event set in parkland to the
east of the City. Professional entertainers provide the fun in a
main arena, with The Blackrock Llama Display Team, DL Dog Agility
Team, Esk Valley Jazz Band, Heroes Cheerleaders, Mokyfit Dance
Team, Happi the Clown, Circus Jim Workshops, Owl Magic, Magic Sand
Art Painting, Fairground rides, Charity stalls, Model Railway,
Children's Activity Marquee plus much more. Money is raised for
local charities on a selection of stalls. Admission is
free.

Fireshow 2012 – Theme (to be announced)
Date: Saturday 3rd November 2012
Venue: Bitts Park, Carlisle
Times: Entertainment starts at 6.30pm, Bonfire
lit at 7pm
Admission: Free
The Carlisle Fireshow is in the top ten bonfire and firework
displays in the country and attracts around 35,000 people. The
bonfire is themed and built to a specific construction which has a
pyrotechnic and firework display set onto moving parts. The
firework display which follows is spectacular and the whole show is
set to music and lasts for approximately an hour.
Admission is free although donations are collected for local
