Views sought on Dalston Conservation Area
Local residents are being asked their views on proposals to
extend the Dalston Conservation Area.
A public consultation is currently underway and intends to
encourage debate and comment from anyone within the area who has an
interest in the conservation of the village’s heritage and
character. The consultation proposals look at the existing boundary
and examines whether this is still appropriate or should be reduced
or extended.
The consultation has so far included a public exhibition at the
Victory Hall, Dalston held on Saturday 15 March. A leaflet showing
the proposed extensions to the conservation has also been
distributed in and around the Dalston area. The leaflet is
available from the Civic Centre or via the
City Council’s website, information is also available by
contacting the Local Plans and Conservation section on 01228
817193.
Any comments should be sent to: Head of Planning and Housing
