Starting next Tuesday (14 April), the community days will
continue until Friday (17 April), between 10am and 6pm each

Dowbeck Park will be the centre of the ‘Groundforce’ style
makeover, with the main aims being to clear up litter, paint and
put in a new Mini-BMX track, football facilities and a Youth
Shelter.

April at the Wigton Road Methodist Church, between 1pm and 4pm,
where representatives from various agencies, including the Fire
Service, Cumbria Police, NHS and Healthy Living Initiative will be
on hand to give their support.
The community project will culminate on Friday, 17 April with an
official opening ceremony for the new BMX track and sports site by
one of the youngsters who has provided the best support throughout
the four days.
