Carlisle City Council events

Carlisle City Council has organised lots of activities to keep
local youngsters busy over the Easter holidays:
- Go 4 it - packed Carlisle City Council activity programmes
include the opportunity to sample beginners Badminton, Hockey,
Boxing, Squash, and Basketball as part of the Go 4 It scheme. Aimed
at 10 to 16 year olds, the events run between today (Monday, 6
April) -Thursday, 9 April and Tuesday, 14 April – Friday, 17 April.
These sessions are open to all youngsters in the Carlisle area.
Place are still be available.
- Mini and Junior Aces Tennis Camps - available for children aged
between 5 and 16 at the Bitts Park Tennis Courts between Tuesday,
14 April and Thursday, 16 April.

- Multi-Use Games Areas - Multi-sports activities are available
between 1pm and 3pm at Dale End Road (Tuesday, 7 April and Tuesday,
14 April), Hammond’s Pond (Wednesday, 8 April and Wednesday, 15
April), Heysham Park - Raffles (Thursday, 9 April and Thursday, 16
April) and Melbourne Park from 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm (Monday,
6 April and Tuesday, 14 April ).
- There will also be a family event held between Tuesday, 14
April and Friday, 17 April at Dowbeck Road Park. A clean up of the
park will take place to allow provision for sport and physical
