Gritting
The major roads within the city are gritted by Cumbria County
Council's contractor. The City Council provides a gritting service
for some minor roads and estate roads and our gritters have been
out yesterday, throughout the night and again this morning.
People can report any affected pavements or highways on the
Highway's Hotline on 0845 609 6609, where information will be
passed on to the responsible party.
