Summer Remembrance Service
Open invitation to local residents

Local residents are being invited to Carlisle
Crematorium’s Annual Open Air Remembrance Service on Sunday, 17
July 2011.
Held within the Peace Garden, the service will start at 3pm and
will be lead by Tony Bashford. There will also be music from The
Salvation Army Citadel Band.
The Mayor of Carlisle, Cllr Barry Earp and the Mayoress, will
also be in attendance.
The 21st annual memorial event is an opportunity for partners,
relatives, friends and colleagues to take time out to join in an
afternoon of remembrance. All are welcome to attend.
A collection will also be taken, on the day, for Hospice at Home.

- In 2005, Carlisle Cemetery recently celebrated its 150th
anniversary.
- Carlisle’s Cemetery and Crematorium has previously been singled
out as the best in UK.
- In total the Dalston Road and Richardson Street based

times over the past 10 years.
