Some local green fingered school children are continuing to lending their support to a restoration project at Eden Bridge Gardens, Stanwix, Carlisle
The City Council is currently establishing new priorities so that it can set objectives and performance measures which will support its work over the next three to five years.
An independent efficiency review undertaken by a specialist consultant in early 2009, found the City Council service to be in the top quarter of the best performing UK councils.
