Local residents are being invited to join a new Friends of Rickerby Park group and play a part in the future management and maintenance of the site.

An on-site meeting will be held on Wednesday, 23 June in Rickerby Park, meeting at the Riverside car park off Brampton Road, at 6.30pm. Everyone will be welcome.

Around 20 local residents and local councillors have already signed up to be members of the new group, but Carlisle City Council is asking more people to come forward and have their say and get involved.

The Rickerby Park grounds are managed by Carlisle City Council.
