Free advice and support for Botcherby residents

Free IT training and fitness checks will be available to Botcherby residents on Wednesday, 24 March.

An event has been organised by Carlisle City Council, Riverside Housing System Group and Next Step Cumbria. Held between 10am and 4pm, it will be based at Botcherby Action Team House at 11 Merith Avenue, Carlisle.

The Carlisle community will have access to advice and support from a range of organisations, including:

A free prize draw, with the chance to win £100 of Tescos’ vouchers, will also be available to all those residents who attend the event.

Julie Kemp Economic, Regeneration Officer, Carlisle City Council, said:

“As part of the event, residents will be given the opportunity to get advice on a wide range of wellbeing issues. Health and fitness checks will be available alongside professional support to help access free IT training.”
