A free event that aims to promote local employment and learning opportunities in Carlisle will be held this Friday (14 May) at the Hallmark Hotel between 10am and 3pm.

Organised by Carlisle City Council and Nextstep - an information and advice service for adults – the Futures 4 Me event aims to support people who want to develop their existing career or want to make a career change.

A wide range of local employers will be attending. Learning providers will also be on hand to offer their support and give advice on what training opportunities are available. These will include Carlisle College, JHP Training RWP and many more.

The event has been organised with the support of local partners, including the newly formed Employment & Skills Partnership which includes Carlisle City Council, Carlisle Chamber of Commerce, Carlisle College and Nextstep.
