Winter Weather
(Date of issue: Monday, 29 November 2010)
Carlisle City Council is advising local residents that refuse
and recycling services may be affected due to the recent snow fall
and icy conditions.
Residents are asked to continue to put out their wheeled refuse
bins, purple sacks and recycling sacks and boxes on their usual
collection dates.
Every effort will be made to carry on with collections as
planned, however the refuse and recycling vehicles may find it
difficult to access some urban and rural properties.
If collections are not possible, residents are advised to put
refuse/recycling out on their next scheduled collection date. Any
excess waste or recycling will be collected on that day.

rough or if you know anyone is at risk of having to sleep rough
