Areas of work:

Financial Services

The Financial Services Team is statutorily responsible for the proper administration of the Council's financial affairs.  It is responsible for providing financial advice and planning, budget consultation and monitoring, final accounts and treasury management.

Corporate Procurement

Procurement is central to delivering high quality, value for money services. The Council must ensure that it obtains the necessary goods, services and works to the required level at the most economically advantageous price, taking account of whole life costs.

Effective procurement is also a mechanism that can support delivery of the Council’s corporate priorities and the Corporate Plan. It can help the Council meet its wider objectives of promoting the social, economic and environmental well being of the district.

Property Services

Property Services are responsible for managing and advising the Council on its land and property portfolio. The principal role is to provide professional property and valuation advice to the Council.
