Performance Management
We want to provide the best possible services to our residents
so we need to monitor our performance to see how good we really
are.
One of the ways we used to monitor how we perform was through
the use of the National Indicator Set. The Government abolished the
Set in 2010 allowing Carlisle City Council to review its approach
to performance management and monitoring.
We regularly compared our performance against other district
councils. Over the past four years we have demonstrated an
improvement. A significant proportion of our indicators are
performing in the top 25% of Councils or above average compared to
others.
