How to apply for a grant
Grants are now available for young students from Carlisle.
To apply you:
- must be aged under 25 on 1st October 2012
- must be residents (or children of residents) of Carlisle
- must answer YES to one of the following:
Are you due to attend full time courses this autumn at a
university or institution of further
education? Application form A must be
returned by no later than 10 September 2012.
Are you a graduate undertaking, or wishing to undertake, higher
studies or obtaining professional
qualifications? Application form B must
be returned by 10 September 2012.
Are you a student who has to travel in this country or abroad as
part of your course? Please return Application form
C to us as soon as possible. Awards for travel
grants are usually made in March, although awards may also be
considered at the October meeting with a mid-September
2012 deadline.
