BTproposal to remove phone boxes

This Consultation has now ended.

Carlisle City Council have co-ordinated the formal consultation required for the proposed removal of 27 phone boxes.

Details of the location of the payphones proposed for removal and the Final Notification and Decision of Carlisle City Council Executive (i.e. the Councils objections) are available to download here.

The timescale available for this consultation was very short and we would like to thank all those who responded for their prompt and informative responses.

NB. BT is not required to consult on the removal of payphones which are within 400m of another payphone. There are a number of these within Carlisle District and these will be reviewed by BT over the coming months.
