Nuisance Vehicles

Nuisance vehicles are those that have no registered keeper, are abandoned or are not displaying a current tax disc. Find out more about abandoned, untaxed or nuisance vehicles and how we deal with them.

Noise Nuisance

We have no control over general road traffic noise, loud music from vehicles or revving engines on the public highway. We suggest that this type of noise nuisance is reported to the police.

If the vehicles concerned are making noise from private property such as your neighbour's driveway, garage or garden our environmental health officers may investigate, monitor and enforce the law. Report loud music or revving engines.

Electronic forms can be completed and submitted online, with no paper involved, which is not only our preferred method; it's kinder to the environment as well.
