Rubbish collections
Grey bin collections (fortnightly collection)
These are highlighted on your refuse collection calendar which
can be downloaded using the form above. We will only collect
rubbish that is inside your grey bin. If you are struggling with
your waste or you don't have a refuse bin, please contact us using
the telephone number or email address provided under the menu on
the left.
We provide two sizes of bin;
- 240 litre - Height: 1.10m, Width: 0.60m, Depth: 0.75m
- 140 litre - Height: 1.7m, Width: 0.48m, Depth: 0.55m
Purple sacks (weekly collection)
These are delivered to households free of charge (usually once a
month). Please only place two purple sacks out each week before 7am
(or no sooner than the night before collection). If you are unsure
which day we collect your purple sacks, please contact us using the
telephone number or email address provided under the menu on the
left.
We do not collect rubbish placed in black
sacks.
Missed Bins
If we have missed your refuse bin, purple sacks, garden waste
bin, green box, plastic and card sacks, or euro bin, please either
contact us on 01228 817200 as soon as you realise
it has been missed. If you don't realise until after the
collectors have left your area, you may report the missed bin via
our
contact form or by email.
