Civil Enforcement Officer

Grade D £17,714 - £19,048 per annum pro rata

2 Part Time Posts (Hours to be discussed)

Flexible working hours to include weekend and bank holiday working, to cover car park operating hours there are 2 posts of 0.4 fte available.

Your main duties will be to patrol and enforce City Council owned Pay and Display car parks by the issue of Penalty Charge Notice in accordance with approved procedures with regard to high standard of customer care

City Centre Officer

Grade F £22,937 - £24,472 per annum

We are looking to recruit a flexible, enthusiastic and trustworthy person to assist the Centre and Car Parks Manager in the day to day management of the City Centre, enforcement of relevant Bylaws and the management of the activities that take place there.

The successful candidate will be required to be available for Weekend and Bank Holiday working to assist in managing the planned activities in the area and the enforcement of relevant Bylaws.

Planning Officer (Maternity Cover)

Grade I £30,178 - £31,846 per annum Temporary Maternity Cover for up to 12 months

We are looking to appoint a qualified Planning Officer within our Development Management Team. The successful candidate will get a varied caseload that involves making site visits throughout the district, meeting the public, presenting reports to the Development Control Committee, and dealing with any appeals should they arise.

We are looking for a well-organised person with a professional, positive and proactive approach who will be part of an already collaborative and supportive team

Community Neighbours is run by Carlisle City Council & covers Carlisle & District. Our volunteers can give support in a number of ways, Companionship, Transport, Accompanied Walks, Help with Correspondence, Dog Walking, Shopping & Supporting people to access social & leisure activities.
