Carlisle
City Council undertakes routine grass cutting in urban areas,
together with tree and hedge pruning, shrub and flower bed
maintenance.
Areas of grass which are maintained by the Council are cut on a
periodic rota. Continued bad weather can delay grass cutting.

Carlisle in Bloom. The hanging baskets and some of the flower beds
are planted by Carlisle City Council's grounds maintenance teams
with kind donations and support from local businesses and community
groups.
