Chance's Park Activities

Listed below are some of the Activities that will be taking place over the Summer in Chance's Park, Morton Carlisle. Watch this space there will be lots more to come.

Tai Chi in the Park

Sessions take place every monday, except bank holidays. 

Newcomers start 3.15pm
Intermediates at 3.30pm.

FREE of charge!

Sessions will be held in Morton Manor Community Centre during adverse weather conditions.

Horticultural & Craft Fayre

Saturday 19th May 2012, 12pm-4pm

This is our 3rd Annual Horticulture and Craft Fayre in Chance's Park. Join us for an afternoon of crafts, plants & entertainment! ENTRY FREE!

We will have performances from Heroes Cheerleading, Sunshine Panners Steel Band and a Display from Silverband Falconry!  Please download our flier for further information!

If you are a local crafter and would like to take a table in our craft marquee, we still have limited spaces available, please contact Joanne on 01228 531105 for more details.

Jubilee Garden Party

Saturday 14th July 2012, 11am-3pm

Join us for our 1950's themed garden party.
Something for everyone! ENTRY FREE! (more details will follow)

Tuesday 24th July - Mokykidz Session - 1pm
(beside adventure play area)

Wednesday 25th - Manor Fairy Day - 11am - 3pm
with Magical Mel!

Thursday 26th July- Morton Community Games! - 11am-3pm
Carlisle & District SPAA Foundation will be delivering a range of family fun sports activities. Run jump and throw yourself into getting prepared for the Games!!!

Friday 27th July- Barnardo's BIG TODDLE! 'Super Heroes' theme  - 10.30am 
starting at Morton Community Centre

Ongoing activities in the park

Every Monday 2.30pm - 3.30pm

Healthy Walks around the park lead by Carlisle City Council's Sport & Recreation Team. Meet in the foyer of the Community Centre, then refreshments afterwards in the Manor Coffee Bar.
