Carlisle Coaches Association
The Carlisle Coaches Association was launched in October
06. The need for a locally based Coaches Association had been
identified by both Sports Coach UK and the City Council as a
priority for the further support of coaches in line with their own
Continued Professional Development.
With a growing database of members the association provides a
useful resource for local coaches to discuss good practice,
coaching methodology and a variety of other current issues. Further
benefits of membership include:
- An extra 15% paid towards course fees when applying for the
City Council coach/instructor development grant award scheme
- Invitation to the Carlisle Sports Council Annual Awards Evening
in August 2007
- A copy of the 'Sport in Focus' Newsletter
- Inclusion on the mailing list for all course or workshop
information and any information on current issues related to coach
education.
- Inclusion on our database of casual coaches to be offered one
off work for the City Council and clubs looking for coaches.
- Help with looking for work whether paid or voluntary in order
to gain valuable experience
- Free access to coach education workshops

joining fee as instructed.
