Countdown to open-air concerts

Two open-air concerts, organised by LCC Live, will held in Carlisle this July.

Bryan Adams will perform at Bitts Park, Carlisle on Saturday 15 July, as a continuation of his Get Up Tour. This is one of just a handful of outdoor shows the Canadian musician will perform in the UK this year. Tickets are available at www.ticketline.co.uk or by phone 0844 888 9991.

Little Mix will perform in Carlisle this summer as one of a series of ‘Summer Shout Out’ live shows. They will take to the Bitts Park stage on Sunday 16 July. This is a sell-out event.

As part of the staging and site set-up for the open-air concerts, the parking area on the Sheepmount Road is not available until 8am on Wednesday 19 July.

Bitts Park play area will remain open as normal, as will the tennis courts and Urban Adventure.

Parking arrangements on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 July:

The following Carlisle City Council car parks are available: The Sands Centre, Swifts Bank, Civic Centre, Viaduct, Caldew Riverside, West Walls and Lowther Street. Normal parking charges apply. A link to the car parks locations is: www.carlisle.gov.uk/parking

Castle car park (formerly known as Devonshire Walk car park) is open for coach parking only. Limited parking for Blue Badge holders will be available at Bitts Park car park. This is available on a first come, first served basis.
