Site Assessment: This site is part of a larger
agricultural holding, and consists manly of grazing land, although
there are two small structures within the south east corner of the
site. In terms of location, the site lies in a remote rural
area, approx 8 miles from Longtown, the nearest centre with a range
of services. The development of this site would be contrary
to NPPF Housing, which states that housing should be developed
in suitable locations which offer a range of community facilities,
and with good access to jobs, key services and
infrastructure.
