Pedestrian zone
Carlisle's pedestrian zone includes Scotch Street, English
Street, Bank Street and Greenmarket. There are no parking
provisions within the Pedestrian Zone.
Disabled badge holders may park within the designated Disabled
parking bays within the pedestrian zone. If all the designated bays
are full then alternative parking must be found. Parking outside of
designated bays may result in a parking
fine being issued.
Loading and unloading
Access can be gained to the pedestrian zone for loading and
unloading by goods vehicles at the following times
