You can report problems with flytipping using our online form. Give as much information as possible to enable street cleansing crews to find the flytipping easily. Crews work 7.30am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday. Flytipping will be cleared within 5 working days of it being reported.
You will be asked to give details of the flytipping and your own personal details. You will receive acknowledgement via letter or phone call, and the flytipping will be cleared within the relevant time period (see above).
You can also report flytipping by contacting the Street Cleaning on 01228 817200 with the exact details of where it occurred, what you saw and the vehicle registration. Your details will remain confidential.
Where appropriate we will investigate flytipping offences to take enforcement action against those responsible. A successful prosecution can result in a fine at a magistrates court of up to £50,000 and / or six months imprisonment. Contact Us
