If you are claiming Income Support, Employment and Support Allowance or Job Seekers Allowance

If you are making a brand new claim or are reclaiming Income Support (IS), Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) or Jobseeker's Allowance JSA(IB) you may make your claim for Housing Benefit via The Job Centre.

You will have to fill in a separate claim form for Council Tax Reduction.

If you are a private tenant you will still have to provide us with proof of your rent paid and proof of income for anyone in your household who is over 18. We will write to you to request this.

If you are not in receipt of Income Support, Employment and Support Allowance or Jobseekers Allowance you can claim Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction, by completing the form below. Please read the guidance notes before completing the application form.
