Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay your bill. We offer customers a choice of four dates each month when they can pay. These are the 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd. You can also ask to pay over 12 months instead of 10, or however many months remain in the year.
Please note that if you have Council Tax arrears we will set instalments dividing the total balance outstanding by the number of remaining months in the financial year.
You are also protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee, which promises that you will get your money back straight away if anything goes wrong.
You can pay your Council Tax bill online with a debit or credit card, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

To pay your bill by standing order or through your own banks facility i.e. online banking, mobile banking app or telephone banking, you will need our bank details:

Post Office and Paypoint
You can pay your bill by cash, debit card or credit card at any Post Office or by cash at any Paypoint outlet nationwide. You will need a bill with a barcode on it to pay. If you already have one of these simply take it along and make the payment.
