Funding to support victims of gender-based violence in the UK.
Rosa, a grant-making charity focused on grassroots women’s organisations, has announced a new scheme dedicated to supporting victims of male violence in their recovery and helping women across the UK to feel safe and protected.
The fund will offer unrestricted core and project-based grants to organisations led by and for women, with a focus on groups which work with women who are underrepresented or who disproportionately experience male violence.
An advisory group of representatives from a range of women’s organisations across the country has been set up to determine how this fund will be managed, ensuring it best reflects the needs of the communities it will serve.
The fund is expected to open in spring 2022, with more details published in due course.
