Funding to Support Digital Inclusion in Clarion Housing Residents

Digital & Technology

19 April 2022/Categories: Grants_and_Funding

Non-profit groups can now apply for grants to promote digital confidence across the UK

Administered by the Clarion Housing Group, Clarion Future Digital Grants are designed to address digital exclusion and support safe, confident internet use among residents.

Not-for-profit organisations including constituted community groups, registered charities, social enterprises and Community Interest Companies in the UK can apply as long as they can prove the majority of beneficiaries of the project will be Clarion residents.

Grants of £1,000 to £5,000 are on offer, and can be spent on:

  • Connectivity (mobile and fixed).
  • Training resources.
  • Venue hire.
  • Insurance.
  • Event costs.
  • Volunteer expenses.
  • Refreshments for participants.
  • Staffing costs.
  • Publicity materials.

The Fund is primarily aimed at building digital skills and confidence, rather than teaching people how to use a computer.

Groups that can demonstrate an understanding of what is already going on in the community and the added value that their projects can bring will be given priority.

Applications must be submitted by 18 May 2022.

How To Apply

The next deadline is midday on 18 May 2022.

Applications are open on a rolling basis, however they must be submitted before the published deadline to be considered for the upcoming round. Organisations can only submit one application per round.

Applications must be submitted via the Clarion Futures online grants portal (Flexi-Grant). Applicants are required to register on the system before starting an application form.

The guidelines are available from the Clarion Futures application portal.

For more information, visit the Clarion Futures website.
