Carlisle City Council is seeking to recruit experienced applicants to two posts within the Homeless Accommodation Services on a 12-month fixed term basis to cover internal secondments within the service. Both posts work to a fixed rota system which includes weekend, evening and overnight cover (additional contractual payments are made for weekend/overnight cover).
As well as supporting the team in the delivery of specialist support and emergency accommodation, the post holder will be responsible for managing a case load and supporting people experiencing homelessness; conducting regular assessments of need focused on re-housing; and assisting in the delivery of community outreach in order to maximise prevention, enhance effective rehousing and prevent future homeless representations.
Post A - 37 hours per week
Post B - 22.2 hours per week
