To help us analyse and measure the performance of our content we use Google Analytics, which records the pages users visit.
This year we’ve made improvements to carlisle.gov.uk that allows us to comprehensively record information about users’ interactions across the site.

Innovative ways of giving residents access to services online through Smarter Services Delivery and the Digital Strategy for Carlisle City Council has helped Carlisle City Council become nominated for a iNetwork Innovative Access to Public Services award.
For a while now we have encouraged our customers to sign up for electronic services. As an Internet user of the Council’s ever increasing range of self service offer you can request and receive services, do business, and get information about your accounts day and night, every day of the year. It’s all at your fingertips.

From Monday 28th of September, when you visit www.carlisle.gov.uk you'll be presented with the new responsive version of the site. The video below shows what this will look like across a range of devices.
