Through services such as MyAccount the Council has created a variety of ways residents can keep up-to-date with their council tax bills, report issues or book services at a time which suits them best. Earlier this month we launched a new responsive www.carlisle.gov.uk website with a range of Mini sites from Open data to Country Parks. Our aim was to make the site feel clearer and less cluttered. We believe this will lead to a simpler user experience, where you can access services and information quicker.
We believe the new websites are a significant improvement. It should be quicker and easier for you to find the council information you need.
Smarter Services Delivery has helped Carlisle City Council become nominated for a iNetwork Innovative Access to Public Services award and the public are being urged to back the bid.
Already thanks to the Smarter Services Delivery Project there have been exciting digital projects to improve the digital offering to Carlisle residents and businesses, enabling business growth and to encourage everyone to enjoy the power of digital.
