We want to ensure that we have no hidden costs and have undertaken market testing. Our project team has worked collaboratively on the design to ensure it meets the needs of the user and also stays within the allocated budget.
Once The Sands Centre redevelopment has opened, the Pools site will no longer be in use. Pools provision will be available from The Sands Centre site. The site will remain in the ownership of the City Council and could form part of future regeneration plans, including the Borderlands Inclusive Growth Deal.
The Victorian Health Suite (sometimes known as the Turkish Baths) will remain in the ownership of the City Council. We will look at how best it can be managed in the future.
