We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Civil Enforcement Officer working various patterns over 7 days, including weekends, to support the delivery of high profile ‘frontline’ council services. We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has the commitment, passion and drive to help an enthusiastic team deliver a high-quality service. You will provide outstanding customer care, within a high profile and vital Council service that supports the day to day activities of all residents, business and many visitors to the area.
You must have experience of working in face to face situations with the public and be able to work on your own initiative within the rules and regulations of various legislation. Successful applicants will be expected to act with integrity and honesty, treat customers with respect and have a self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to work.
You will be working on a rotational basis, working at least one weekend in four. You will be responsible for the education and enforcement of various legislation regarding car parking, flytipping, littering and dog fouling.
