The Financial Services Systems Team has an opportunity for up to 14.8 hours per week maternity cover for a Finance Assistant (Systems, Controls and Development). The full scope and remit of this role is set out in the attached Job Description and will be for an initial period of 9 months with the option to extend. Main duties will entail undertaking monitoring and reconciling corporate feeder systems into the financial ledgers, preparing monthly recharges for controlled stationery, printing and photocopying, and processing weekly costing journals.
Ideally you should be proficient in the use of MS Office and have some experience of using the Council’s financial ledger systems (General Ledger, Creditors, Debtors, purchasing).
