Carlisle Spring Fayre

Carlisle Spring Fayre

A new Spring Fayre event will be held between Saturday 30 April and Monday 2 May outside the Old Town Hall in Carlisle’s city centre.

Organised by Carlisle City Council, it is supported by the Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership and will include a bumper programme of free events. The aim is to promote Carlisle as open for business and attract even more visitors to the city centre pedestrianised shopping area.

The family activities will be held between 11am - 5pm on Saturday 30 April and 11am - 4pm on Sunday 1 and Monday 2 May.

Activities will include:

  • Up to 30 local traders taking part in an open air market
  • Face painting and balloon modelling
  • Food and drink stalls
  • Balloonatic  drop-in workshops in Carlisle’s Covered Market Hall on Saturday 30 April between 11am - 12.30pm & 1.30pm - 3pm

Different street entertainers and theatre performers will take part each day:

Saturday 30 April

  • Blue Belles
  • Strolling Gardeners
  • Greenfinger Folks

Sunday 1 May

  • Dinotopia
  • Flying Dodos

Monday 2 May

  • Grow Your Own
  • The Dinner Ladies
