Our shopmobility scheme is open.
The scheme, based in The Lanes Shopping Centre, was temporarily closed during both coronavirus lockdowns. Its usual opening hours are 10am and 4pm, Monday - Friday.
Based on level two of The Lanes car park, it provides powered scooters and wheelchairs (both manual and powered) for people with mobility difficulties, to help them shop and use the facilities in Carlisle city centre.
To use the service there is a charge of £2 per day. Alternatively there are memberships options - £5 for six months or £10 for a year.
