A co-ordinated multi-agency approach is in place to support communities affected by the recent severe weather.
Communities are asked, where possible, to support each other and highlight any concerns for vulnerable individuals to care providers. Always dial 999 in an emergency.

Carlisle City Council's Homeless support:
Carlisle City Council’s homeless prevention team can help anyone, at the threat, or experiencing homelessness. Advice is available from staff at the Civic Centre during normal office hours, Monday - Friday.
OUT OF HOURS: Please call us on 01228 817386 for assistance. If you are aware of someone who is rough sleeping please contact us on the same number.

Refuse and Recycling:
Due to adverse weather we were unable to collect refuse and recycling on Wednesday, 28 February, Thursday, 1 March or Friday, 2 March. Arrangements are in place to pick up any refuse collections week commencing 5 March. More information is available here.
