National Apprenticeship Week

Published on 04 March 2019

National Apprenticeship Week

National Apprenticeship Week 2019 takes place between Monday 4 and Friday 8 March 2019.

It is co-ordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service and is designed to celebrate apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy.

Our Carlisle City Council apprenticeship support programme provides a great opportunity for networking and developing soft skills.

We currently employ 17 apprentices with plans to recruit more. We fully support our apprentices in their studies and training.

Our apprenticeships are diverse and range from Digital Marketing and Horticulture to Management Development.

Our apprentices receive all the same employee benefits as their non-apprentice peers including fair pay and flexibility.

Keep an eye out for our apprenticeship opportunities at www.carlisle.gov.uk/jobs
