Background

Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure.

Objectives of Fund

The Inspire Fund provides funding for innovative projects that engage the public with dementia and the life-changing research going on into the condition in order to tackle misconceptions around dementia and promote the importance of dementia research. The funders aim to create and nurture relationships between communities, researchers, creatives and other potential applicants.

Value Notes

Grants of up to £25,000 are available.

Who Can Apply

Applicants can be from inside or outside the research community and could include community groups, researchers and creatives.

Eligible Expenditure

Grants can be used towards public engagement projects that engage the public with dementia and dementia research. The scheme aims to support new perspectives, talent and expertise to shed a spotlight on this important issue, and fund people with the passion and skills to make that possible.
