Objectives of Fund
Kellogg’s, in partnership with Forever Manchester, is awarding grants of £1,000 to school Breakfast Clubs, to help them provide breakfast to those children who need it most.
Grants of £1,000 per breakfast club are available.
Who Can Apply
Eligible breakfast clubs must be based in a school in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.
A limited number of grants are available so priority will be given to schools that have either:
- 35% and above of children eligible for pupil premium funding (for England) and eligible for free school meals (Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales); or
- Schools that are based in an area which is classified as falling in the 10% of most deprived areas according to the Index of Multiple Deprivation. Applicants can find out if this applies to their school by following the instruction found here.
Only one grant per school in each academic year is available.
Schools that have received breakfast club funding from Gregg's or Magic Breakfast within the current academic year will not be considered a priority for support.
All schools that apply to the Programme will be automatically signed up to the Kellogg's Breakfast Club Network. Through the Breakfast Club Network, Kellogg's will contact schools with offers and information to help their Breakfast Club.
How To Apply
Schools can apply for an award at any time and will hear within one month if they have been successful. However, please note the fund may close at short notice if oversubscribed.
Applications must be submitted using the online form, available on the Kellogg's website.
