Housing and Homelessness Advice and Information

For anyone that is homeless tonight or experiencing a housing emergency they need to come in and see an officer at the Civic Centre. We operate a drop in service Monday to Friday from 10am-12pm / 1pm-3.30pm. Out of hours please contact the appropriate telephone number detailed below. 

If you are aware of someone who is rough sleeping please contact us immediately to report this by any of the channels listed or via Streetlink https://www.streetlink.org.uk/

A direct access housing information service is available at the Customer Contact Centre in the Civic Centre.  A member of staff will be available Monday to Friday, 9.30 a.m. to 12 noon and 1.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. (except bank holidays).  Tenancy guide booklets are also available at the Civic Centre.  They explain the difference between Assured and Assured Shorthold Tenancies, Licence Agreements and your rights as a tenant or landlord.
