    Bitts Park (CA3 8UL)

    The park is a peaceful haven only 800 metres from the City Centre, comprising formal gardens, riverside walks, children’s play area and splash park (operates 11am-6pm), running routes and sports facilities.

    A great place for relaxing, having fun and connecting with nature. The Rivers Eden and Caldew form the park’s Northern and Western boundaries respectively..

    Bitts Park is the home to Carlisle's premier play area with splash park, an outdoor active space and skate park.

    A limited amount of free parking is available on a first come first served basis opposite the entrance to the Sheepmount athletics stadium, off Sheepmount Road. Further pay and display car parks can be found off Dacre Road (East of Carlisle Castle) and Devonshire Walk (West of Carlisle Castle).

    Further pedestrian access to the park may be gained from Hardwick Circus, Eden Bridge and the City Centre.

    Bitts Park is easily accessable by using public transport links to Carlisle City Centre.

    Richmond Green(CA2 6SZ)

    A peaceful green space with a play area, football pitches and a wildlife area. There is a small parking area at the end of Wootton Way and Richmond Green, the site being easily accessible on foot from Queensway, Ness Way, Cherry Brow and Richmond Green

    Green corridor running between Tribune Drive and Antonine Way, with ornamental tree species, a play area and hard surface sports court. Accessible by foot from Tribune Drive and Antonine Way.

    Trinity Church Yard (CA2 7AA)

    On the site of a former church and Trinity School now lye's this recreational area with the buzz of the city., there is a play area and a multi use games court. Accessible by foot from Wigton Road, Caldcotes, Leatham Street and Head Street
